September 2006 | Hannover Leasing buys Harenberg City-Center in Dortmund
As has just been announced, Hannover Leasing acquired the Harenberg City-Center (HCC) at
Dortmund Main Station in the middle of August via an investment company. The transaction
volume is in the mid-double-digit million euro range. The seller of the property, which is 70 m
high and one of the tallest buildings in the city, is the publisher, Bodo Harenberg. The Harenberg
publishing company will continue to be based in the HCC. The building at Königswall 21 includes
around 21,200 sq m of office space, which is rented out to Dresdner Bank, Deutsche Bahn and
RWE, amongst others. Hannover Leasing intends to place the property on the market as part of a
closed-end property fund. Degen Consulting and TK Finanzen & Service acted as advisors.
