December 2007 | Successful year for DEGEN in spite of a weak 4th quarter

In spite of a weak 4th quarter, DEGEN Consulting, Cologne, successfully concluded its business year
with a transaction volume of more than 200 million euros. In addition to dominant office properties such
as the ABC-Tower in Cologne, sales were arranged in various sectors, including residential portfolios,
senior citizen properties, a shopping centre as well as small office and retail properties. DEGEN was
involved in an advisory and mediatory capacity in each case.

DEGEN Consulting will also attempt to realise its transactions with fewer customers in 2008. In 2007
it started to concentrate on fewer business partners while offering a closer and more exclusive busi_
ness relationship. In this respect, the scope of the consulting work e.g. in valuation, research, incor-
porations and procurement of funding greatly increased. It intends to continue to develop these areas
through further exclusive clients. Transactions of approx. 50 million euros are already under
consideration for the 1st quarter.
