On 15 February 2020, DERECO relocated its headquarters to a premium location in Rheinauhafen, a former inland harbour in Cologne. Offices are now situated at Im Zollhafen 2 - 4. Following ten successful years at the former HQ, only a few kilometres up the Rhine, the team now welcomes modern office concepts which not only take into account the growing staff numbers but are also designed to allow for working either in teams or focussing on individual tasks.

Over the past few months, the high-quality offices on the upper floor of the building were redesigned in black, white and grey in keeping with the firm’s corporate identity.
Closed areas alternate with open-plan zones and the overall look is completed by modern art.

The landmark property was acquired by DERECO on behalf of its current owners in 2010. As DERECO is relocating, the company will also begin to provide asset management for the property housing its new headquarters.

Marco Frank joins DERECO’s investment team

The Cologne-based multi-family office for real estate assets DERECO is staffing up its investment team. Marco Frank will join on 1 March 2020.

Marco Frank (37) previously worked in the investment department of Finch Properties and at AXA Investment. His know-how and real estate expertise will be a valuable asset when it comes to purchasing relatively large existing value-add properties and identifying suitable developments in the field of individual properties and large-scale neighbourhood projects.
DERECO is stepping up its resources in the investment sector due to its increasing transaction volume.
