3D printing processes in use

To date, additive processes have been chiefly used and investigated for the purpose of developing models and in individual projects. Italian entrepreneur Enrico Dini, for example, managed to produce large three-dimensional objects of sand and binding agent on a D-Shape printer he developed himself. However, some problems remain with regard to the materials used and the high cost of engineering. Nevertheless, specialists have used this technology in experiments for many industries such as architecture, art and design or even aerospace, the main objective being to produce individual components directly at the building site to be assembled into buildings.
