The future - Smart homes and sustainable living

Back to overview
DERECO Impuls 5

Future Living Berlin is a lighthouse project by the Krebs Berlin group. It is a smart residential project launched at an interactive booth at the Berlin Radio Show (IFA) in Berlin in 2016 in cooperation with Panasonic, a Japanese corporation which has already implemented a similar project with other partners, the Fujisawa Sustainable Smart Town. As visualised in a 3D model, some 69 apartments are planned. These will meet all kinds of requirements a resident might have, with many interactive features such as security equipment, infrastructure control and assisted living. The Future Living Berlin project is a full-fledged example of possible solutions in the fields of demographic change, energy and mobility.
